Happening Now

Spring is just around the corner at Hodge Family Farm, and that means it’s time to wake the fields back up after a long winter rest. We’re busy planning our crop rotations, ordering seeds, and mapping out where your favorite pumpkins and produce will grow this year.

Out in the fields, we’re checking soil conditions, tuning up tractors, and getting equipment ready for long days of planting. In the seed-starting areas, early crops are taking root so they’ll be strong and healthy by the time they move outdoors.

We’re also getting the farm ready to reopen our 24/7 self-serve farm stand in May, stocking up on supplies, refreshing the space, and planning what you’ll be able to grab on your way home—day or night.

Behind the scenes, we’re lining up our schedule for local farmers markets and planning new ways to make your visits to the farm even more enjoyable. It may look quiet from the road, but there’s a lot happening now to get ready for a fresh, abundant season ahead.
